Exclusive Member Events
Members at the Supporting level and above enjoy exclusive access to special events, exhibition previews, and unique cultural experiences designed just for our NCMA community. From VIP celebrations and behind-the-scenes programs to curated trips and members-only gatherings, these events offer meaningful ways to connect with art, artists, and fellow art enthusiasts.
Supporting-level Members and higher are invited to attend preview celebrations for each new exhibition, held prior to the public opening. These festive evenings bring together artists, curators, lenders, patrons, and museum leadership for a first look at our newest exhibitions. Evites are sent to eligible members.
The next VIP Preview celebration will take place on March 21, 2026, for five exhibition openings: 250 Years of Art on Long Island, Influence & Identity: Twentieth Century Portrait Photography from Bank of America's collection, Profiles in Color: The Paintings of Andres Valencia, and America's Pastime - Baseball Memorabilia from the Collection of Rick Friedman. Watch for your invitation in early March.
Throughout the year, Supporting-level Members and higher are invited to participate in exclusive trips, private tours, and special off-site experiences curated by the Museum. These opportunities provide private, behind-the-scenes access and enriching cultural excursions not available to the general public.
We look forward to welcoming you at our next Member event and thank you for being an essential part of the Nassau County Museum of Art community.
The Member Book Club is open to all museum members and meets three times per year. These gatherings provide opportunities to connect over shared interests in art, culture, history, and literature. The inaugural meeting, facilitated by Associate Curator Alex Maccaro, featured Fiona Davis' novel The Magnolia Palace, set in the Gilded Age, Manhattan residence of Henry Clay Frick. Future meetings will continue to offer engaging, 90-minute discussions in a welcoming, social atmosphere. Details for the next session will be announced soon.
